Trisha has created a safe and fun atmosphere in her studio for women to explore the therapeutic benefits of Pole Dancing. Combining principles of Pilates in her style of instruction she finds that Pole Dancing not only increases stamina and strength - upper and lower body, and extreme core strength; it increases balance, joint stability/mobility, flexibility and cardio-endurance...as well as being GREAT FUN!!!
For several years now, Trisha's work in the community has centered around providing therapeutic events that assist others in overcoming addiction, healing from past trauma, and identifying / transcending self-limiting beliefs. As a result of her work with others, on November 2nd, 2005 Governor Christine Gregoire awarded Trisha with the “2005 Woman of Courage Award” in the 2005 Annual YWCA Women of Achievement Awards.
Trisha and her husband Paul, have also created and co-direct the Tianshi Foundation (www.tianshifoundation.com), dedicated to providing life affirming offerings supporting the global community. As Tianshi Foundation, Paul and Trisha provide guidance in living through everyday challenges, negotiating human dynamics, and resolving conflict. Their message emphasizes humor, playfulness, communication from the heart - and living in genuine unconditional love.
Trisha lives in Shelton, WA. with her two dogs, 2 peacocks and a cockatoo. She has two grown children and is a very fun grandmother.
